The evolution of the KEO beer o'clock.

Way back in 2011, we decided that at 4pm each Friday, we'd put the tools down for an hour and chat to each other about our challenges through the week, what we felt good about what we felt bad about and generally get excited about the weekend.

Quite often we would find the ideas would start flowing, and as a team we began seeing real value in debriefing together on the wins and losses, leading us towards the mantra "if we're not winning, we're learning."

With the vibe we'd created we couldn't help but begin inviting clients and potential clients along to these. If the good conversation and unpacking of the week wasn't providing incentive enough - we figured the free booze would.

Fast forward almost 10 years, and like clockwork - 4pm each Friday we begin our debrief. Although now most of the time, 5pm hits and we're back on the tools still trying to get everything out for the weekend so we can start fresh Monday.

This necessity has lead us to evolve the "traditional" KEO Beer O'Clock and come into 2019 with a new format.

Here's the plan:

Every 3rd Friday of the month, we will release a video for KEO's Beer O'Clock. We're aiming for approximately 5 - 15 mins covering industry topics with guest apperances from clients and businesses we work with.

It's fun, informal and rough, but the content and take aways will be valuable, especially if you get on board and help us by asking a question or suggesting a topic you'd like us to tackle.

We're in it for a bit of fun, but more importantly we're hoping to share this valuable process we discovered together, make sure you subscribe to our youtube channel to be notified when we've launched the first video, it will be before the end of the month!

CHEERS!

KEO acknowledges the Kamilaroi/ Gamilaroi/ Gomeroi people as the traditional custodians of the land we work on.

We recognise the strength, resilience and capacity of the Aboriginal community and have the utmost respect for Elders past, present and emerging.

We collaborate with ambitious brands and people. If your next project, venture or market transition
could use someone like Keo, let's build it together.
